FAQ

YOUR ONESSTOP SOLAR ENERGY SOLUTION

  • What are the types of solar power systems available from us?
    1. On grid solar system solution 2. Off grid solar system solution 3. Hybrid solar system solution
  • Are there custom-made solutions you provide?
    1. Lithium backup with solar power 2. Decentralized energy solutions
  • What are the financial benefits of solar energy?
When you install a solar energy system on your property, you save money on your electricity bills and protect yourself against rising electricity rates in the future. How much you can save depends on the utility rates and solar policies in your area, but going solar is a smart investment regardless of where you live.
  • How much panels do I need?
It depends on how much electricity you use. We analyse your recent electric bills to assess the amount of electricity you need to cover, and then we’ll design a system that fits that level of usage taking into account shading, orientation, and other factors.
  • What are the maintenance activities involved in a life span of a system?
The best part about the solar system is that there is no need for regular maintenance. In case of high-capacity power plants you need to clean the panels, Check the rated output of the system, replace the diodes inside the panels, if necessary, tighten the nuts of the structure if any gets loosened, Clean the heatsink fan of the inverter if necessary. In case of off grid system, you should refill distilled water in the battery. For household plants less than 10kw only cleaning of panels and filling of distilled water is enough. And also, we can do the extra activities mentioned above when there is a fall in performance of plant.
  • Can The Solar Panel Withstand Wind, Rain And Seismic Conditions?"
Yes, the design takes care of all these conditions, as relevant to the city / location of installation. The structural engineering and drawings on roof top installation will be submitted for customer’s approval. This can be further validated by the customer with the help of a suitable architect / expert.
  • Do solar panels work on cloudy days?
Yes, your solar system will still produce electricity on a cloudy day. However, the production will be less than a sunny day.
  • Do solar panels work in a blackout?
If your solar panel system is connected to the grid, it will shut off in the event of a blackout. This is to prevent emergency responders and electricity utility repair-people from being injured by your panels sending power back to the grid. However, there are certain inverters you can buy that provide backup power in a blackout when paired with a battery.
  • How do solar photovoltaic (PV) panels work?
Solar panels absorb the sun's energy throughout the day and convert it into direct current (DC) electricity. Most homes and businesses run on alternating current (AC) electricity, so the DC electricity is then passed through an inverter to convert it to usable AC electricity. At that point, you either use the electricity in your house or send it back to the electric grid
  • What is the advantage of lithium batteries over lead acid batteries?
The main benefits of Lithium Battery are portability. there is no overflow of acid from the battery. The weight of a Lithium battery is 1/4th of Lead-acid batteries. Lithium batteries charge and recharge much faster than lead-acid batteries. As solar expert's experience is that Lithium Battery can charge within 2 hours whereas Lead Acid battery takes almost 10 hours to charge full battery. Lithium batteries do not require any maintenance to ensure their performance. Lithium batteries, on the other hand, have no memory effect which means that they do not have to be completely discharged before recharging. Lithium batteries offer reliable, stable, long-lasting power. Their energy density is higher, which means they have high power capacity. This high energy density enables its usage in devices that have high power requirements like laptops and mobile phones. These batteries have a lifespan of over ten years on average. They can also handle more than 2000 times of charge-discharge cycles.
  • What is net-meteing?
Net metering measures the difference between the electricity you buy from your utility and the electricity you produce with your solar energy system. Under net metering, any excess electricity produced by your solar energy system is delivered back into the utility grid, effectively spinning your meter backwards. Your meter spins forward when your solar energy system is not producing all of the electricity you are currently using. Your electric meter keeps track of this net difference as you generate electricity and take electricity from the utility grid.
  • What Happens When The Solar Energy Generated Is More Than What We Need Or If It Is Less Than What We Need?
Solar energy is infirm power, and that is why, we either sync it to the Electricity Grid or have a battery backup or Sync it to a DG set.For Industrial applications, we sync with grid or DG. When the solar power generated from the plant is less than what is required by your load, the additional required energy will be drawn from either grid or DG for supplying the load. If it is more than what is required, it can be fed back to the Grid, provided you have a net meter connection
  • How long do solar panels last?
The solar panels that we use currently come with a 25-to-30-year linear performance warrant. Most panels are guaranteed to produce 85% of the year one output in year 25. If the panels keep degrading at this rate over the next 25 years, they will be producing 70% of their initial output in 50 years. All that to say, solar panels will last a long time.
  • What is decentralized solar energy solution?
Imagine you’re owning a complex and have a good terrace space with good sunlight condition, and you have n number of shops in the complex you can install a solar power plant of desired capacity in the terrace and supply the energy to the shops and get paid for the electricity they use.
